The Compliance of Lithuanian Environmental NGO’s Objectives with European Green Deal

European Commission in 2019 has developed an ambitious strategy for sustainable economic growth - the Green Deal. It sets out two key objectives: to make Europe first climate-neutral continent, with zero net greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and decouple from resource use.
 While responsible authorities will be taking relevant decisions, citizens must also do their part changing habits, protecting environment conserving natural resources. The Deal implementation’s success requires participation commitment of public.
 There are eight main initiatives / policy areas, which need transferred Lithuanian law (Increasing EU’s climate ambition 2030 2050; Building renovating energy recourse efficient way; From “Farm Fork”: a fair, healthy environmentally friendly food system; Accelerating shift smart mobility; Supplying clean, affordable energy; Mobilizing industry clean circular economy; Preserving restoring ecosystems biodiversity; A pollution toxic free environment).

 results. After comparing NGO’s performance we can see, that most them work preserving biodiversity, mobilizing economy. There’s only one NGO act field building way. Estimating size population, there is large number NGOs, but unfortunately, they not very well known society.
